Deer hunting is another thing I'd like to give a try but I have a question.
What do you think the success rate and max distance would be on a rifle without a scope?
Right now all I have is a 7.62 Mosin Nagant for a rifle, it hasn't even been to the range yet. Eventually I'd like to try and get a scope that will work with it without modifying the stock but I'm trying to prioritize my spending.
Is it something any of you would even bother with? If you had the choice of hunting without a scope or just not hunting, what would you choose?
